Leonard’s Skipper
Male - August 2023
The Leonard’s Skipper (Hesperia leonardus) is a fairly large, and brilliantly colored bronzy-orange grass skipper with bold yellow markings on the hindwing and forewing.
Male - August 2023
The Leonard’s Skippers loved the purple knapweed flowers that were nearly carpeting this rocky area in 2023. There were thousands of flowers and 2 skippers!!
Male - August 2023
